Whelp, this certainly is a bit rough; being stuck indoors without being able to socialize with your friends while playing our free, live trivia game. We miss you kids, too.
So, from a safe 500-feet below the surface of the Earth, in the comfy APQ Trivia-Bunker & Lounge, we will get you that quizzin’ fix.
We hope to post some updated questions at least twice a week, but we’re shooting for thrice a week, because “thrice” is more fun to say. We’ll try for Sundays, Wednesdays & Fridays. Our first one is posted below.
Before we get to today’s questions, we’d like to remind you just how you can help during this time.
- First, please please please support local businesses. Get some take out or a gift card from your area pizza or burger restaurant or local tavern down the street. As a small business ourselves, we LOVE the bars & restaurants that have our trivia shows. Support them however & whenever you can.
- Related, please wait to use any gift cards you’ve won or purchased from our venues. Our venues want your business, but at the moment, they need the cash flow coming in. Please hold on to those gift cards for when business returns to normal.
- Please take care of yourselves & your neighbors. Ask if anyone needs help & please help where you can. Don’t forget to love each other.
Now, with all that out of the way, let’s get to our first Quaran-quiz (trademark pending). To see the answer, click on the question:
Fame ~ We wanna live foreeeever. We wanna learn how to fly HIGH!
Yosemite Sam ~ The antagonist was known for his temper, gruff voice & massive red moustache.
Idaho ~ The 43rd state to join the Union. Is “gems” what the kids call potatoes nowadays?
Chicago White Sox ~ Awww, remember when there was sports?
Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin & Michael Collins ~ it was a mineral found on the moon, and later found on Earth, as well.
Battery ~ Assault is the threat of violence. Also, pro-tip, judges don’t like it when you giggle whenever they say “ass”.
A) 19th Amendment (1920)
D) Pluto (1930)
B) Earhart (1937)
C) Diners Club (1950)
Still bummed about Pluto.
Thanks for reading. Hope this brought just a little bit of joy to your lives during this time.
We’ll update this mini-quiz fairly often, so please check back. Watch our front page for news. Follow us on Facebook & Instagram for updates on what shows are returning & when. We miss you & hope to see you very soon.
